The Prineville Miracle Ear business center in Prineville has recently moved across town to a new location.

Shanelle Vega, owner and hearing specialist, and also the franchise owner for Central Oregon, commented, “It’s an exciting change for us. Our service has only grown over the years in Prineville.”

She indicated that she has had the Central Oregon Miracle Ear business centers since 2011. She has centers in Madras, Bend, Redmond, Burns and Prineville. In 2014, when the business expanded to Prineville, they were previously located inside Central Oregon Eyecare. They bought the current building on Northwest Third Street.

Vega noted that they are already seeing customers in their new location Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Their new address is 682 N.W. Third Street, next to Dairy Queen in Prineville.

If they have hearing loss, they assist customers with their hearing. Vega also stated that Miracle Ear also offers free hearing assistance for those customers who cannot supply hearing assistance for themselves.

“We really have a solution to help everyone here,” she said of the local center.

Miracle Ear is a nationwide franchise, and Vega owns the Central Oregon territory, which includes Burns.

They provide a free hearing test, check the patient’s health of their ear canal, and make sure everything looks healthy. After the hearing evaluation, they go over the results with the patient.

“If we find that there is no medical referral, and they need hearing aids, then we go ahead and talk about hearing aids and options for them and their hearing loss. We fit them with a hearing aid if they choose to do so.”

Services include cleaning hearing aids every four to six months and making adjustments as needed so that the sound quality is what the …….
